8K USA TV respects the intellectual-property rights of broadcasters, studios and leagues and complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512) in the United States and the notice-and-notice regime of the Copyright Act in Canada. If you believe content accessible through our platform infringes your copyright, send a written notice to our designated agent that includes: identification of the copyrighted work; the URL, channel name or title and the time you observed it; your contact details; a statement of good-faith belief that the use is not authorised; a statement under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate and that you are authorised to act for the owner; and your physical or electronic signature.

What happens next

Valid notices are acted on within one business day: the stream or title is removed or disabled and the affected account holder is notified. Repeat infringers lose their accounts. Counter-notices that meet the statutory requirements are forwarded to the complainant, and the content may be restored after 10 to 14 business days unless a court action is filed.

Misrepresentation

Knowingly submitting a false claim may make you liable for damages, costs and attorneys' fees under section 512(f).
